Sophie Smith.

Sophie graduated from the University of South Australia in 2022 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Health Science. In recognition of her academic achievements, she was awarded a Merit and invited to join the Golden Key International Honour Society.

She began her legal career in 2022 at a well-regarded Adelaide law firm, gaining experience first as a Law Graduate and subsequently as a Solicitor. In July 2022, Sophie was admitted as a Solicitor and Barrister of the Supreme Court of South Australia and is also admitted to practise in the High Court of Australia.

Since her admission, Sophie has focused exclusively on Family Law, gaining extensive experience in complex parenting matters and property settlements. In 2025, she joined Dorter Family Lawyers and Mediators, where she continues her dedication to achieving practical and compassionate outcomes for families.
